Soul Waves – Healing Arts Studio is Coming!!
Check back soon at SOULWAVESSTUDIO.COM for the full site and this exciting new addition to Savannah. We hope to be open for business in September 2019. And (fingers crossed) stay tuned for a Grand Opening in late October.
Soul Waves Studio will be the home for Dana’s Craniosacral and Massage offerings, her 5Rhythms teachings and more!
Soul Waves will also be the home for several other gifted bodyworkers and massage therapists. (Hello! Are you a bodyworker or massage therapist, looking for a new studio space? Please get in touch with Dana at firstname.lastname@example.org.)
And it gets better! It will be your new home for relaxing with a friend in the hot tub or detoxing in our Infrared Sauna. Yes. We are super stoked that our SOAK & SAUNA services will be on the menu.
And finally, it will be the home of a wide range of GROUP/COMMUNITY CLASSES, including anything from Yoga to Dance, Nutrition to Essential Oils, Meditation to Creative Arts and more. (If you or someone you know, has something to offer to the community, please get in touch with Dana at email@example.com.)
Dana offers Esalen® Massage, CranioSacral Therapy and a blend of many modalities and influences that make her work unique.
Dana is excited to add to the mix, Upledger’s CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY. This is a fascinating and effective therapy for getting deep into core causes of many issues. It has been shown to help a full spectrum of pain, illness and dysfunction, including: MIGRAINES & HEADACHES, CHRONIC NECK & BACK PAIN, STRESS & TENSION-RELATED DISORDERS, CHRONIC FATIGUE, FIBROMYALGIA, TMJ SYNDROME, SCOLIOSIS, POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDERS, CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDERS and more.
Generally, Dana’s approach is intuitive and holistic first, with technique and logistics close behind. She listens to your words, feels what is under her touch, takes into account the body is a “whole” unit where this effects that, and that effects this. Dana’s gifts seem to come across most, in her ability to induce serenity, give the just-right pressure for you, and intuit the troublesome, and sometimes hidden spots.
Each session with Dana is customized for each person on a given day and will include a blend of the Esalen style along with modalities such as:
Dana studied at the world- renowned Esalen Institute (Big Sur, California) in addition to many other massage influences and trainings.
Dana is a Georgia Licensed Massage Therapist (#MT004828) and a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.)
A NEW LOCATION
For an undetermined and temporary time, Dana Danielson Massage will be located at Dana’s private home. Because this is a HOME, the location and details will not be published here. The general area is off Hwy 17, not far from Chatham Parkway. It’s about a 10 minute drive out of the main Savannah area.
How does this effect you?

Optimize Your Session

The 5Rhythms® is a Moving Meditation where we each do our own dance to “a wave” of music taking us through the 5 rhythms of: flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. Through this practice of movement we explore the energy of these rhythms and how we relate to them, on the dance floor and off. There is no right or wrong way and no steps to follow. No experience is needed. You simply “show up” and let the dance do you.
Dana is a certified 5Rhythms Teacher and a life-long lover of dance. She has been a 5Rhythms teacher since 2011 and student since 1998. She studied with Gabrielle Roth as well as with other core teachers.
Savannah 5Rhythms Waves ClassesPlease check for the most up-to-date information on classes and workshops at our page, Facebook.com/WavesSavannah. Sometimes we decide to have a spontaneous class and other times a scheduled class may be changed due to circumstances beyond our control. So stay in the dance loop with us.
This is a non-alcohol and non-drug activity.
As with yoga and mediation, we choose to enter this with a sacred and sober body and mind.
What To Expect & How to Prepare
[two_thirds] A typical class: You arrive to music playing. You warm-up your body with your own movements. The music builds as you warm up. There will be some guided movement, lesson or exercise. Usually very simple and always body-based. You continue the class integrating the exercise within a “Wave” of music that goes through each of the 5 rhythms. [/two_thirds]
